Participez à cette expédition combinée en associant une excursion en jeep à une marche sur la Levada. Vous découvrirez la nature sauvage de Madère en jeep et à pied en entrant dans la forêt de Laurissilva, au cœur de Madère.

Porto da Cruz, où vous ferez la première marche Levada, est un village rural où l'activité principale est l'agriculture. Il est célèbre pour son vin de table local, la production de rhum et le surf. Vous pourrez également y trouver l'une des plus anciennes raffineries de canne à sucre et y déguster du rhum. Continuez jusqu'à Ribeiro Frio, où vous pénétrerez au cœur du parc naturel au cours d'une deuxième promenade sur la Levada.

Explorez la flore locale et la végétation endémique de Madère. Continuez ensuite jusqu'au Pico do Arieiro, le troisième plus haut sommet de l'île avec une altitude de 1818 m. When the island was discovered in 1419 by Portuguese explorers, this is where they first landed.Heading off-road towards the north, you'll zigzag through an ancient laurel forest – a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999 – on scenic trails towards the mountain town of Santana to see its steep-roofed, straw-thatched homes. After a well-deserved lunch break in a typical local restaurant, you'll round off with a pit stop at a nearby viewpoint, offering knockout coastal panoramas all the way to Madeira's easternmost point, the São Lourenço peninsula.
