St. Pauli er et distrikt i Hamborg på bredden af floden Elben. Distriktet dateres tilbage til det 17. århundrede og er beliggende i nærheden af "Landungsbrücken", landingsdelen af havnen. Mest kendt for det berømte 'red light district'-område på Reeperbahn er St. Pauli dog også hjem for en af de mest berømte fodboldklubber i Tyskland, FC St. Pauli. Klubben spiller deres kampe på Millerntor Stadion, som kan findes i midten af distriktet.
Uanset, om du er en fan af fodbold eller ej, er St. Pauli værd at besøge; især Reeperbahn. Det er et af de to centre for Hamborgs natteliv, der tiltrækker kulturfolket og deslige, og gaden er fyldt med mange barer, klubber, musicals, teatre og levende musikspillesteder. Faktisk er det her, at det legendariske rockband The Beatles fik deres første bid af deres stjernestatus her i begyndelsen af 1960'erne, hvor de ville spille på forskellige spillesteder. Du kan besøge Beatles-Platz og se fem silhuetter i rigtig størrelse, der repræsenterer gruppen.
Du kan også finde Panoptikum-museet i St. Pauli. Museet er den ældste og største voksmuseum i Tyskland, der har over 120 voksfigurer af berømtheder.
